Château Lilian Ladouys 2022 bestaat voor het grootste deel uit merlot en heeft een donkere kleur en aroma's van zwart fruit, viooltjes en kruiden. De structuur is rijk en evenwichtig, zonder zwaarte, en het gehemelte is rond met soepele, zijdeachtige tannines. Zo herken je een groot wijnjaar.

La fraîcheur du terroir est évidemment un atout énorme pour Lilian. Il y a jamais eu autant de Petit Verdot dans le vin. Le vin se révèle de manière précise, fraîche et compacte. Il y a de la tension, de la fraîcheur et du tempérament dans ce vin qui se positionne clairement parmi les grands St-Estèphe ! Les tannins se révèlent lentement et sont légèrement crémeux. La fin de bouche demande à s'arrondir, mais les perspectives affichées sont excellentes. Un vin tonique, conquérant prêt à traverser le temps.

A rich, medium to full-bodied, balanced Saint-Estèphe, it offers pure plum and darker cherry fruits, some chocolate and leafy herb nuances, ripe tannins, and a concentrated, textured mid-palate. It's beautifully done, and I suspect it will represent a great value as well.

Tout en finesse et élégance. Un très joli vin, subtile, que l’on déguste avec plaisir, alliant le fruit, les épices, un léger boisé, des tanins très fins et souples. In 2008 worden Jacky en Françoise Lorenzetti verliefd op het domein. Ze kopen het en gaan snel en met veel passie aan de slag. Ze starten een groot programma op om de percelen teherverkavelen. In 2009 bouwen ze een nieuwe, half ondergrondse cuvier. De tekening van een klavertjevier op de kasteelmuren wordt het wijnembleem van Lilian Ladouys en komt op het etiket. Het is ook terug te vinden op de achtergevel van Château Pédesclaux, Grand Cru Classé van Pauillac sinds 1855, gekocht in 2009. Jacky en Françoise zijn sinds 2013 ook mede-eigenaar van Château d’Issan, Grand Cru Classé van Margaux.
